About Me

Hi I’m Corey.

I’m a psychotherapist based in Los Angeles, California by way of the Midwest. I believe that healing lies in connection- to yourself, to others and to your environment. My aim is to help you find that connection through building a more mindful presence, finding strength in vulnerability, and honing your voice through creative expression and communication skills. I am deeply curious, compassionate, and grounded which creates a wide open space for insight and transformation.

When I’m not providing therapy, I love to spend time writing, recording, and performing original music, surfing, exploring nature, and trying out new recipes with my wife. As a person-centered therapist, it is incredibly important to me to be another person in the room with you— someone you can relate to and be authentically human with.

My creative background and my longstanding meditation practice deeply inform my approach, allowing me to bring warmth, a playful curiosity, and a steadiness that makes deep reflection feel safer. My work is relational, person-centered, and narrative informed, which means I act as a collaborator rather than the expert. But, I also bring a breadth of experience teaching practical tools for those seeking a more directive approach.

If you’re seeking support please reach out for a consultation. I’d love to hear from you.
